What’s On In Dublin: October

October brings orange leaves, pumpkin lattes and a whole load of plaid. It’s also the run up to Halloween and there’s lots of great things going on in our fair city. Here’s some social events to put in your calendar.

1. Hocus Pocus @ The Sugar Club – October 12th

To get in the mood for all things spooky, The Sugar Club is showing a screening of the classic Halloween movie; Hocus Pocus. You can get drinks at the bar and pizza in a box and the seats are super comfortable.


2. The Bootleg Beatles @ The National Concert Hall – 5th October

Touted as one of the best tribute bands out there, The Bootleg Beatles will bring you back in time with the fab four’s greatest hits.


3. Ragús The Homecoming @ Grand Canal Theatre – 22nd October

Immerse yourself in some Irish heritage for an evening with an Irish dance troupe that’s just finished taking the globe by storm. Tickets from €20.


4. Silence Of The Lambs @ Light House Cinema – 27th October

If you want to watch some seriously scary classics then the Light House Cinema is showing the likes of Silence Of The Lambs and The Candyman to get you in the mood for Halloween.


5. Open House Dublin – 16-18th October

Interior lovers and design fanatics rejoice as Open House Dublin is back again. Check it out to view the inside of some Dublin’s best designed houses and commercial properties.


6. Mind, Body & Spirit Festival @ RDS – 24-26th October

Get your zen on with a 150 stalls of healing therapists, massage, physic readings and more.
