Tried & Tested: No7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil
Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil you say? Yes please, anything that helps me look like I am retreating back to youth like Benjamin Button.
No7’s Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil promises to keep skin soft, nourished and radiant, while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The oil is packed with vitamins, including Rosehip and Jojoba, which both help with the bane that is dry skin. The product will also act as a barrier for your skin before putting on your serum or moisturiser too. The bottle itself is a solid and expensive feeling glass. The oil itself is dispensed via a dropper that works well to limit mess and exactly measure the two to three drops recommended to smooth on the skin after cleansing, or to mix with your usual night cream.
For me, I found I liked to use it most at night time. I would have dry skin at times in and around my snout area and I found that this oil gave me a significant moisture boost. My skin also felt quite peachy and soft when hitting the pillow. Speaking of which, sometimes I tend to wake up with serious pillow face, so anything that says it will reduce lines and winkles is going to be devoured by me.
I could definitely see an improvement in my skin after a few nights of using this oil. I just used the first method of directly onto the skin. I noticed I was spending less time on the slightly drier areas of my skin when doing my makeup in the morning, so success!
I initially thought that I wouldn’t like this product and the first night I tried it, I envisioned I was going to look like a chip pan, but to my surprise I liked it. It’s also definitely a good weapon to have if you sit in an air-conditioned office and your face looks like an elephant’s cracked foot!
You can pick up this oil in Boots stores throughout Ireland and it’s priced at €30.50, but remember you’re only using 2-3 drops at a time so it will last you.
Cheers No7 – hopefully I am a foetus again by Autumn.
