Tried & Tested: Madame LA LA Face Bronzing Serum
Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a fake tan virgin. So when I recently received the new face bronzing serum from American-Brit self-tan company Madame LA LA, I was rather nervous to try it for fear of looking like Ross in that infamous episode of Friends. I have naturally sallow skin so would always try and worship the sun for a colour pick-me-up instead of reaching for the bottle, but I have to say I’m now less sceptical after trying this product!
The serum is infused with coco water and green tea to hydrate the skin, as well as a concoction of vitamin C, A, E, CQ10 and aloe vera, all of which is used to firm, tone and aid collagen renewal. It also smells like coconut which is lovely and fresh (there’s nothing worse than a bad smelling product for your face!)
It comes in a handy pump bottle and you only need a pea sized amount to apply to your face and neck. I did slightly panic when ever it came out of the bottle as it’s really dark, but upon application it’s much more natural than expected! Be sure to wash your hands straight away as it will stain, otherwise just use gloves.
The colouring did darken over night so I would suggest mixing it in with your normal face cream the very first time, just to see how it develops on your skin. It really looks so natural so there wouldn’t be any need to wear foundation over it if you’re feeling comfortable in your skin. Something else to note as well is that I have sensitive skin but I had no problems with this serum!
It’s £28 for a 100ml bottle and you can buy it here.
