Tried & Tested: La Roche-Posay Serozinc

A mattifying toner? My pores rejoice! I was really happy to see this in my latest pile of beauty products to test. I’d heard lots of great things about La Roche-Posay’s Serozinc so I wanted to get my mitts on it and see what all the hype was about.

This product is designed primarily for oily skin and it offers benefits like pore tightening, anti-grease and anti-shine, all while not drying out your skin or leaving it feeling tight. Hoorah! I’ve been using this both morning and night after cleansing my skin and before moisturising. It comes in mist form, so you can be quite liberal with it, be careful with your aim though, sometimes I was spraying my hair more than my face.

It’s not scented and it’s perfect even for the most sensitive of skin. It helps to mattify my skin without it feeling tight and is really refreshing to use. I could definitely notice less shine was breaking through. My nose would be my worst part for oil, probably because there’s so much of it! It was definitely combatting the oil for longer than usual. It’s also a good one for shaving rashes or a nappy rash. Another great multi-tasking product for us oily girls.

This little baby will be coming in my holiday bag as I have a busy holiday coming up and don’t fancy resembling a greasy sloth. I say trés bien to La Roche-Posay.

Serozinc is €10.00 and it’s available in Hickey’s Pharmacies throughout Ireland.
