How To Start Strobing (The New Contouring)
Strobing is basically just a glorified highlighting effect which leaves your skin looking more dewy than heavily contoured. Celebs like the Kardashians, Miranda Kerr and Ferne Cotton are all pushing the more natural looking face sculpting, and concentrating on that all important glow.
The main areas of your face to focus on is any where that the light would naturally hit, ie. the tops of your cheekbones, forehead, bridge of the nose, brow bone and cupids bow on your lip. Using a highlighter on these area combined with a dewy base of CC cream or creamy foundation, will give you that natural, glowing complexion.
The professionals recommend double-cleansing your face and using an uber-hydrating moisturiser or even a face mask before you apply the makeup. The products will set into the skin so much better and avoid any dry patches or flakey makeup.
Now, go forth and strobe!
