7 Tips For Home Waxing
Home waxing is not for the faint hearted, after all you need to have the determination to keep going! There are however ways of making it easier and more successful for you – the pain level unfortunately we cannot control!
1. Exfoliate and moisturise
Use an exfoliating cream or glove to avoid ingrown hairs. Make sure your moisturise afterwards.

2. Wax at the right hair length
Your hair should be between 1/4-3/4 inch long for the wax to grab onto well enough. If it’s longer then trim before hand with safety scissors for a more successful wax.
3. Use baby powder pre-wax
This will absorb any moisture in the area you’re about to wax so the strip can grab onto the skin better.
4. Test the wax temperature
Spread a little bit on the inside of your wrist to check the temperature. If it’s too cold then it won’t spread and you don’t want it too hot to burn yourself!

5. Apply in the right direction
Apply the wax down the way in keeping with the way your hair grows. Apply the strip and rub down the way also. When pulling off however, go the opposite way.

6. Don’t over wax
If you have a few stray hairs left, don’t repeat the wax on the area, use tweezers to pluck out any random hairs.
7. Baby oil after
Use baby oil to remove any bits of wax left on the skin. It’ll also really hydrate the area.
